There’s a reason that Spartan® mowers are trusted by both homeowners and businesses across the country. These machines provide you with a guaranteed ticket to easy and efficient lawn care. If you’re looking for one of the most powerful machines on the market, you’ll have met your match. The company’s success didn’t happen overnight. Read on to learn about Spartan mower company history.
The Beginning
Spartan mowers came from the innovative mind of Robert and Beck Foster. They were raised in a rural community, which gave Robert Foster a deep appreciation for heavy equipment. He went on to found numerous other businesses before working on Spartan mowers. He’s associated with many other reputable names, including Intimidator® UTV and Groundhog Max. Eventually, Foster began craving more.
He was focused on offering better performance in the form of a machine that could handle a wider variety of terrain. The goal was to create a mower that would be much tougher and more durable. Robert Foster drew from some of the best features on the market such as frame, cut, and design. He put it on a set of rear radial tires. After several stages of testing and fixing, the first official Spartan mower was released.
You might be surprised to learn that the company wasn’t officially founded until 2015. However, don’t let that fool you. The Spartan mower team has been hard at work ever since. Today, these are some of the most popular machines on the market and they are largely responsible for redefining the turf industry.
